The drilling host is equipped with 3 BT40 high-speed spindles, which are used to perform drilling operations on the three faces of steel workpieces—with one spindle dedicated to each face. The corresponding row-type tool magazine has a capacity of up to 4 tool specifications. This host supports the conversion of CAD drawings into machining programs; it also enables multi-threaded synchronous operation, allowing for rational scheduling of tasks such as drilling, workpiece movement, tool change, and spindle positioning. This makes it possible to complete two or three of these tasks simultaneously, significantly improving production efficiency.
Components:
This production line is mainly comprised of a loading horizontal material table, a 3D drilling main machine, a 3D drilling feed channel, a 3D drilling feeding device, a 3D drilling discharge channel, a cooling system, a hydraulic system, a pneumatic system, a lubrication system, an electrical system, and other associated components. The production line adopts a fixed bed and a movable workpiece structure, which effectively facilitates automated production processes and ensures stable operation during continuous machining.
1. Loading Horizontal Material Table
This component comprises a material table bracket, a conveyor chain, a gear motor, and other associated parts, and is designed to convey steel workpieces to the feed channel. The loading horizontal material table is connected to the straightening machine procured by the customer, ensuring seamless integration into the customer’s existing production workflow.
2. Three-Dimensional Drilling Feed Channel
The three-dimensional drilling feed channel adopts power rollers to connect with the straightening machine at the customer’s site. It receives the straightened profiles and automatically conveys them to the clamp position of the feeding trolley. In this configuration, the height of the roller’s upper plane from the ground is set at 800mm; if the straightening machine has a different height, the user shall make corresponding adjustments. The feed channel is designed to support workpieces to be processed. A photoelectric switch is installed at the front end of the channel to detect the workpiece’s front end, thereby determining the X-direction processing reference. Additionally, a side-pushing device clamps the workpiece tightly and presses it against the side positioning rollers, realizing rough positioning of the workpiece in the Y-direction.
In sample demonstration sessions, for example, the machine tool can effectively showcase its machining capabilities through standard H-beam samples (featuring varied flange widths and web thicknesses) and channel steel samples of different dimensions. These exhibited samples clearly demonstrate the machine tool’s capacity to achieve precise hole positioning, smooth tapped threads, and clear marking patterns—fully reflecting its high precision and reliability in practical application scenarios.
The High Speed CNC H Beam Drilling Machine is primarily deployed in steel structure workshops and bridge construction projects. Within steel structure workshops, it conducts precision machining on H-beams used for frameworks and support structures, thereby establishing a solid foundation for the stable assembly of steel structures. In bridge construction scenarios, it performs high-accuracy drilling operations on H-beams—this contributes to enhancing the structural integrity of bridges, enabling them to withstand long-term loads. Its high operational efficiency provides reliable technical support for these key infrastructure sectors, ensuring the smooth advancement of project implementation.
