Overview:
The XB series milling machine without pressure beam is an advanced and efficient new milling equipment independently developed and manufactured by our company, and it is the only product to have obtained a national utility model patent issued by the State Patent Office. It is widely used in equipment manufacturing in industries such as pressure vessels, boilers, shipbuilding, large formwork and machinery, steel structures, power, and chemicals, and is particularly suitable for milling special alloy plates and new materials, as well as for pre-welding processing of plates.

Structural Features:
1. Dual-Drive Dual-Power Head:
Dual-power head refers to two independent drive and milling power head units installed on the guide rail of the XB-3 meter milling machine (effective milling distance). The two units can be controlled individually or in conjunction, enabling simultaneous or individual milling of different bevels and end faces of the sheet metal.
Maximum effective cutting length per installation with dual power heads: 3 meters for the XB-3.
Equipment length and effective table installation dimensions: Due to the installation of two walking mechanisms and two power heads on one guide rail, when milling a 3-meter long sheet metal, the effective cutting length of each cutter head and tool release must be considered. Therefore, the guide rail length needs to be 5.5 meters. Total equipment length: 5.5 meters.
The function of dual-drive dual-power heads is: when milling thick plates with large angles and large allowances, where one power head cannot complete the cut in one operation, the other power head mills the remaining cutting amount. This allows both power heads to complete the cut in one operation, eliminating the need for one power head to mill back and forth several times. Alternatively, when end edges and bevels are required, adjusting the power head angle allows for a single cut. (The dual-drive, dual-power head milling of the sheet metal with double-sided beveling improves production efficiency, eliminates the need for flipping and re-facing large-format sheets, and enhances safety.)

2. Electromagnetic Chucks on the Table: The table uses electromagnetic chucks to fix the workpiece, making operation convenient and providing ample installation space. Each chuck's dimensions (width x length): 220 × 400 mm, with 6 groups arranged along the length, effectively reducing the table's suction distance.
3. Segmented Fully Hardened Guide Rails: (Top-of-the-line configuration) Guide rail dimensions: 40*80*600 mm, material: 40CrMo, integrally tempered, high-frequency quenched to a hardness of HRC48-50, precision ground to ensure accurate segmented assembly. If the equipment has been used for an extended period, the guide rails can be removed for repair or replacement, restoring accuracy and extending the equipment's lifespan; straightness not exceeding 0.40 mm/3000 mm.

4. Cutting Power Head Motor: Power increased to 7.5 KW, using a brand-name motor with variable frequency speed control, suitable for various strengths of sheet metal.
5. Power Head Milling Angle: Both power heads can achieve any angle adjustment from -45° to 85°.
6. Milling Cutter Head: Employs a high-strength 75° cutter head (Φ125-Φ160) to reduce the cutting contact area, lower cutting temperature, and reduce tool wear.

7. Travel Reducer: Hardened tooth surface parallel shaft helical gear low-noise high-torque reducer.
Model: FCA77/142.27-IEC90B5/YF90L-4 frequency conversion speed regulation, with a separation module for connection to the motor (in ordinary models, if the motor is damaged, the reducer must be repaired simultaneously).
8. Milling Travel Speed: The milling speed is adjusted by frequency conversion speed regulation of the feed motor to accommodate different materials, thicknesses, bevel angles, and sizes. Typical milling speeds are 100-1000 mm/min.
9. Integrated Machine Design: To improve the overall straightness accuracy and rigidity of the milling machine, this design uses an integrated design.

10. Support Frame: Considering the maximum width of the square plate used is 2 meters, the length of the support frame is increased to 1.2 meters. The table width is also designed for better support of the steel plate. This machine is equipped with 5 sets of material support racks.
11. The standard positioning is with the worktable close to the milling power head. A manual material stop device is designed; after positioning the material, this device must be manually removed before milling can begin.
12. 95% of the electrical components in this milling machine are Schneider Electric brand.
