1. Bed and worktable:
The bed and worktable are constructed as integral castings using gray iron (HT250), subjected to secondary annealing and aging treatments, and finished with precision machining to guarantee superior dynamic and static rigidity, ensuring no deformation. The worktable surface is equipped with precision-machined T-slots in an optimized layout, facilitating secure workpiece clamping. The bed base is outfitted with two high-precision linear guideways on each side, ensuring even force distribution across the guideway slides and substantially enhancing the machine tool’s rigidity as well as its tensile and compressive resistance. The drive system utilizes AC servo motors paired with precision ball screws for dual-side actuation, enabling the gantry to traverse along the Y-axis. Adjustable bolts are strategically positioned on the bed base, allowing for straightforward calibration of the bed and worktable’s horizontal alignment.

2. Mobile gantry:
The movable saddle is a precision cast iron structural component, integrated with four high-load-bearing CNC linear guide slides, a precision ball screw assembly, and a high-precision planetary reducer linked to a servo motor. It is also equipped with a nitrogen balancing cylinder, which serves to counterbalance the weight of the power head, reduce the load on the screw, extend the screw’s service life, and drive the drilling power head to move along the Z-axis. This configuration enables operations such as rapid advancement, working feed, rapid retraction, and stopping, while incorporating automatic chip breaking, chip removal, and pause functionalities.

3. Drilling Power Head:
The drilling power head is outfitted with a dedicated servo spindle motor, which utilizes a toothed synchronous belt for speed reduction and torque amplification to drive a specialized precision spindle. The spindle incorporates a six-row Japanese angular contact bearing arrangement (four at the front, two at the rear) to enable stepless speed adjustment. It is equipped with a pneumatic tool-changing system, facilitating swift and convenient tool replacement. The feed motion is powered by a servo motor and ball screw assembly. The X and Y axes feature interlinking capabilities and employ semi-closed-loop control to achieve linear and circular interpolation functions. The spindle end is designed with a BT50 tapered hole and integrated with a high-speed rotary joint, enabling high-speed U-drill machining with center water cooling.
